SWC is developing a Counter-Trafficking Youth Advisory Council. No prior knowledge or work experience within the anti-trafficking sector is required, however, we will be prioritizing youth with a lived experience of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation/coercion, and/or sex work. Quarterly Council meetings will be a place to share knowledge and information about sex trafficking, as well as provide an opportunity for consultation and idea sharing around responses to the issue.

Members will be provided an honorarium of $50 per Council meeting and food will be provided.

The first Advisory Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

Folks that do not have access to a phone or computer can feel free to drop in to the Surrey Women’s Centre at 10075 Whalley Blvd. anytime Monday – Friday from 9:30am – 5:00pm.
