Jane Doe Legal Clinic

The Jane Doe Legal Clinic is provided by Surrey Women’s Centre, in partnership with Rise Women’s Legal Centre, providing survivors of family violence with free access to the legal advice and representation they need to assert their rights in court and leave an abusive relationship.

The challenges survivors face in seeking justice, protecting themselves and their families, and rebuilding their lives are often overwhelming. Financial constraints, a lack of legal knowledge, and systemic issues within the legal system itself can all act as formidable barriers.

The Jane Doe Legal Clinic stands as a beacon of hope for survivors who have experienced gender-based violence. It offers free legal services and unwavering support, empowering survivors in several key areas:

  1. Access To Justice:

A dedicated team guides survivors through the legal process, ensuring they can seek accountability for the harm they’ve endured.

  2. Protection for All:

We assist survivors in obtaining protective orders and other legal remedies, ensuring their safety and the safety of their loved ones.

  3. A Path to Healing:

With our legal support and guidance, survivors can take the first steps towards healing and moving forward after experiencing trauma.

If you, or someone you know, could benefit from the services provided by the Jane Doe Legal Clinic, we encourage you to reach out to us today. Your well-being and access to justice are our top priorities.

Because you share our commitment to supporting survivors and promoting justice, please consider making a donation to help us further our vital work. The Jane Doe Legal Clinic plays a significant role in our collective effort to address the needs of survivors and foster healing in the wake of gender-based violence.
