Surrey Women’s Centre’s Giving Campaigns create an Inspiring Impact in the Community
The Surrey Women’s Centre has wrapped up its 2022 giving campaigns with outstanding results. The Gift of Healing and Angel Tree campaigns generated an impressive amount of community engagement and discussion, inspiring individuals and organizations to come together to support the Surrey Women’s Centre’s mission.
The Gift of Healing campaign was focused on raising funds for the centre’s trauma counselling program. The campaign aimed to bring awareness to the issue of trauma and how it affects women’s lives. Through the generosity of the community, the campaign successfully raised funds that will allow the centre to continue providing trauma counselling to those in need.
The Angel Tree campaign, on the other hand, aimed to support women and children who are survivors of domestic violence during the holiday season. Through the campaign, members of the community could choose an angel from the tree and purchase gifts for the women and children. The campaign was able to bring smiles to many faces and show support to those who need it most.
The Surrey Women’s Centre is overwhelmed with gratitude for the support and engagement they received during the campaigns. The impact of the Gift of Healing and Angel Tree campaigns went beyond just raising funds and donating gifts; it also created a dialogue about important issues, such as trauma and domestic violence, in the Surrey community.
The success of the Surrey Women’s Centre’s giving campaigns is a testament to the power of community involvement and the importance of supporting local non-profit organizations. The centre is thrilled with the outcome of the campaigns and is committed to continuing its mission to support and empower women in Surrey.
