As part of Khalsa Credit Union’s commitment to Sikh values and investing in their community’s prosperity, Branch Manager Ramandeep Randhawa reached out to offer her expertise to our clients and visitors.

We held two Financial Literacy workshops, one in English and one in Punjabi, which could be joined virtually or in-person at our drop-in centre (walk-ins, children, and furry friends welcome).

Participants got free guidance on the basics of spending, saving, borrowing, and planning, and how to create a budget, get out of debt, improve bad credit, and more. Two of Khalsa’s financial advisors were here to take questions and offer support.

Khalsa also provided refreshments as well as gift bags of full-sized toiletries, period products, tissues, blankets, socks and more! We thank them for being so generous with their time and knowledge, and putting together these incredible packs of essentials.
