2017 Homeless Count

March 7, 2017 - 12:00am to March 8, 2017 - 12:00am

Lets make sure women are counted! Since 2002,  governments, funders and community agencies have relied on data from homeless counts to help make informed policy and program decisions. The goals of the 2017 Homeless Count are to obtain a reliable estimate on the number of people who are homeless, to obtain a demographic profile of the homeless through the count survey, and to identify long-term data trends. For the first time the count will also pilot a waterways and a rural strategy, as well as an enhanced urban strategy for Surrey. To stay informed, sign up here. Read the last report here.
